What We Collect
Only the data that matters
Syncra sensors measure electrical power draw at the desk level. That's it. We never collect anything that could identify an individual.
What we collect

Security Architecture
Enterprise-grade from the ground up
Every layer of the Syncra platform is designed to keep your data safe, from the sensor on the desk to the dashboard on your screen.
Encrypted in Transit
All data from Syncra sensors to the cloud is transmitted over TLS 1.2+. No plaintext, ever.
Encrypted at Rest
Workspace data is encrypted at rest using AES-256 in our cloud infrastructure. Your data stays locked down.
Network Isolation
Syncra devices can operate on an isolated VLAN or dedicated IoT network, keeping them separate from your corporate infrastructure.
Access Control
Role-based access controls ensure only authorised personnel can view workspace data. SSO integration available for enterprise deployments.
Audit Logging
All access to the Syncra dashboard is logged with timestamps, user identifiers, and actions taken, giving you a complete audit trail.
Data Retention & Deletion
You control your data retention policy. Data can be automatically purged after a configurable period, and full deletion is available on request.

A simple, secure pipeline with minimal data exposure at every step.
Sensor
The Syncra strip measures power draw per outlet. Raw wattage data is sent over your Wi-Fi network. No personal information leaves the device.
Cloud Processing
Encrypted data arrives at our secure cloud, where it is processed into occupancy signals. All storage is encrypted at rest with strict access controls.
Dashboard
Facility managers access aggregated, anonymised insights through the Syncra dashboard. No individual employee data is ever surfaced.

- Privacy by design
Our hardware and software are architected to minimise data collection from day one. We only capture what is necessary to deliver workspace insights.
- No employee surveillance
Syncra does not track, identify, or profile individual employees. Occupancy data is always aggregated at the desk or zone level.
- Regular security reviews
We conduct ongoing security assessments of our infrastructure, codebase, and operational processes to stay ahead of emerging threats.
